Percy Jackson and the lightning thief

This term the einsteins, hillarys, gates and trumps have been given a novel to read and write about. The trumps which is my group, novel that has been assigned for us is Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. The amazing author of this novel I'm about to write about is Rick Riordan.

First of all i'm going to tell you a little bit about it and if I like it or not. Well it's all right but sometimes it gets boring. The main characters are obviously, Percy, Nancy Bobofit / kleptomaniac and Mr Brunner/ wheelchair man.....

Driving on the old school, school bus to the field trip, Mr Brunner rode on his flash shiny wheelchair from the back of the bus, growling one of the kids. All the kids were singing the wheels on the bus because they were so happy to go on the field trip. Soon then he spotted Nancy also known as kleptomaniac, stealing a peanut butter sandwich. “Mr Brunner said to himself what is she going to do with that”. Using all her strength she threw it right at the boy on the other side of the bus. Eww everybody shouted, he said to himself  I actually like this.

They arrived on their sixth grade field trip at the art museum in manhattan to look at ancient greek and roman stuff. Mr Brunner the leader of the trip that was also the latin teacher, entered the massive museum with all the kids. Wow everybody said, lets go and explore!!!!!

Table Tennis

 

Waiting in line keen to play table tennis I said "hurry up I want a turn". Finally Kingston eliminated Kobe and it was my turn. We started with rally. If you don't no what rally is it's a quick game to see who serves the ball. I won and I knew Kingston didn't want me to serve because its hard to hit. Serving is one of the hardest jobs in playing this amazing game. My last serve and he hit the ball high in the air and I slammed it right in the centre of the table. It was GAME!!!!
When I grow up I would really want to play this sport as good as the Chinese. They are really good at these types of games, some even use nunchucks like Jackie Chan. I believe he is one of the best at this interesting sport. Here in NZ we call it TTNZ which stands for Table Tennis New Zealand. Heaps of people participate in this game, even people on wheelchairs. I would like to represent New Zealand.

Farm Bike

This Honda CRF is made for farmers, which costs 6,222 dollars. I believe that it's a good decent bike for the farm. Its gears change smoothly but not only that but it has a comfortable seat. Its heaps different to the other bike I talked about on my blog. It has a electric starter 6 speed 4 stroke. When I grow up I want a motorbike like this.

Motorbike

  This red, white and black motocross motorbike, is Honda's latest make for its use. Its cc which stand for cubic centimeters, is 449. Many makes have different ways to start it but this one you kick start it. Kick starting is pretty simple, all you do is pull the lever out and kick it down.
When I get older I want to get me a motorbike and join the local motocross club. I love motorbikes so much. I probably won't get this bike because its not the best but I might get a KTM. When I get one i'll make sure I treat it really good.

Sport Report

A few days ago, I spotted a wonderful NRL(National Rugby League)report about the latest game between two AMAZING teams... the West Tigers and Canberra Raiders. Both teams were keen to win but unfortunately there could only be one WINNER. 

Running to play a pre season game on freshly cut grass,  Campbelltown Stadium was ready and so was the crowd! As the Raiders dropped to the ground, I said to myself, "What on earth are they doing?" I soon saw that this was all part of their warm-up as they stretched, did push ups, and prepared for...
TRY TIME!

What a WONDERFUL try by Gareth Allis when Benji passed the ball to him as he zoomed through the  gap. A couple minutes later there was another try. At half time the score was 12-10 for the Kitty Cats with Raiders finding themselves being raided! Ouch!

Who wins?

While searching through the latest sports news when this article popped up. It was interesting so I decided to share this Warriors story with the people that read my blog.

A close game for Manly Sea Eagles that stole the game winning 20 - 26. At least  40 thousand people went to watch the Sunday game. The Warriors tried there hardest but at the end the resorts didn't go there way

The half back that plays for the warriors witch use to play for Hibiscus coast, Shaun Johnson talked to TV 3 news about there up coming game playing Manly sea eagles. He is ready and determined to play Sundays game. This is Shaun Johnson's 17 game playing with the New Zealand Representative team the Warriors. This man is an future Benji Marshall.
